Twitter is a free social-networking web site that allows its users to post a mini-blog of what they are doing and follow what others are doing. When you sign up for Twitter and follow "TAMU_IT," you will be able to receive news and updates from Texas A&M Information Technology.

You can also follow "TAMUCodeMaroon" and receive emergency alerts in your Twitter feed and sent directly to your cell phone via text message.
