Firewall Port Openings

The Texas A&M Campus Firewall blocks all service ports by default. To provide a service outside of the campus network, you must request a port opening.

Getting Started

To request a port opening, go to the Scan website or send an email to firewall@tamu.edu. Computers with services available through the campus firewall must be scanned for vulnerabilities.
