What is Qualtrics?

Qualtrics is an online software service that provides tools for designing, distributing and analyzing surveys. Texas A&M University has a campus site license for Qualtrics.

Why should I use Qualtrics instead of free online services such as Survey Monkey?

Qualtrics is a preferred tool for campus surveys because it meets stringent information security requirements not found in most free online survey tools. Free services offer no protection of your data and may use your information for other purposes in exchange for giving you the service.

How do I get a Qualtrics account?

Employees: If your department is a paid subscriber, email your designated contact to receive an individual user account.
Students: Qualtrics accounts can be issued to students for coursework or research, or to leaders of student organizations for assessment or program evaluation. Please see the designated student contacts to request an account.

Where do I log in to use Qualtrics?

After receiving your Qualtrics account username and password, log in at tamu.qualtrics.com.

My department is not a Qualtrics subscriber. How do I get an account?

If your department is interested in becoming a new subscriber, send an email to: Texas A&M Software Center at softwarecenter@tamu.edu.

Where can I get help using Qualtrics?
