Campus Printing More Convenient for Students
Campus Printing More Convenient for Students
Ever found yourself on the way to class and realized you forgot to print your notes? Texas A&M Information Technology now has a list of printers available to all students at http://oal.tamu.edu/Printing/Print_Charges/Campus%20Printers.php.
“Since I live off campus, I think it is great to have a list of printers for students,” said sophomore Michelle Laws. “Once, I forgot to print something that I absolutely had to have for class and didn’t know how to find a printer.”
The Open Access Labs now have Print Kiosks in the Evans Library and Agriculture & Life Sciences buildings. When you print something from an OAL computer, you go to the kiosk and swipe your student ID. Then, the print is released and deducted from your semester print allocation.
“We hope the Print Kiosks will make it more convenient for students to print,” said Computing & Information Services Associate Director Richard Spiller. “We know students are busy and this is something we hope makes their lives easier.”
