TAMULink reaching more residence halls, campus wireless expands range
Texas A&M Information Technology has been busy this summer preparing for your arrival by increasing the number of residence halls that have TAMULink Wireless capabilities.
Currently, 27 residence halls have wireless capabilities. These halls include Appelt, Aston, Briggs, Clements, Davis-Gary, Dunn, Fowler, Harrell, Harrington, Henderson, Hotard, Hughes, Kiest, Keathley, Lacy, Lechner, Leonard, McFadden, Moses, Mosher, Neeley, Rudder, Schuhmacher, Utay, Wells, White and Whitely. Hart and Walton have wireless coverage in designated study areas.
“We are working as fast as we can to get wireless in the residence halls,” said IT Manager Christine Garcia, “If everything goes as planned, all residence halls will have wireless by the end of August 2013.”
