About
IDAC
The Identity, Data, and Access Committee (IDAC) is charged with providing oversight and support of three fundamental technology domains:
- Identity: ensure that individuals using Texas A&M information resources are authentic, and their roles and responsibilities are clearly defined.
- Data: ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all university data, regardless of its location.
- Access: ensure that the right individuals can access the right resources (both digital and physical) at the right times for the right reasons.
The IDAC solicits input from key stakeholders and constituencies across campus, and reviews, evaluates, and recommends strategies, plans, technologies, and policies regarding projects and services that support its three primary objectives.
