Texas A&M University faculty, staff and students can now download Microsoft Office free for personal use. Health Science Center employees will have access in late September.

With Office 365 ProPlus, the programs have the same features and functionality as standard versions of Office and are not web-based versions.

Advantages of Office 365 ProPlus include:

• Download can be used on five computers, five tablets and five smartphones
• 1TB of OneDrive Storage
• Automatic installation of new features and updates
• Researcher, a Microsoft Word cloud service that pulls in relevant web content for safe, credible information
• Ability to embed animated 3D graphics in Word and PowerPoint
