Cybersecurity experts warn everyone not to let their guard down over the holidays.

Cybercriminals often take advantage of holiday weekends and attempt to breach critical networks and systems in both the public and private sector.

Some things to keep in mind:

  • Don’t click on suspicious links and files.
  • Phishing scams are one of the most popular tools among criminals
  • Use strong passwords and ensure they are not reused across multiple accounts
  • Use multi-factor authentication

Phishing scams are one of the most popular tools among criminals. Be sure to stay on the lookout for the telltale signs of such attempts.
