About the Campaign
Two-factor authentication adds a second layer of security, keeping a Texas A&M University NetID account secure even if its password is compromised. Once a student enrolls, they will be alerted right away (on their Duo-enrolled device) if someone other than them is trying to log in.
The Two is Better than One campaign used mixed media to reach over 65,000 undergraduate and 15,000 graduate students across 3 Texas A&M campuses (College Station, TX, Galveston, TX and Qatar).
Over 75% of the student populations enrolled before the deadline during each campaign!
Emails
The Division of IT sent five emails to each student group (undergraduate and graduate), one week apart, leading up to the Duo deadline of February 18, 2019, for undergraduate and March 18, 2019, for graduate students.
