Texas A&M provides access to discounted software through the Texas A&M Software Center, serving as your starting point for both departmental and personal software purchases.

Departmental Software

The Texas A&M Software Center manages campus software licenses that allow departments to purchase software at discounted prices. Departments can order software licenses for academic, research, and administrative needs.

Personal Software

Registered students and eligible employees can purchase software at considerable discounts for personal use.

For All Software Purchases

Begin at the Texas A&M Software Center, which will direct you to the appropriate purchasing platform based on your needs:

• For departmental purchases, select "Software for Work"
• For personal purchases, select "Software for Personal Use"

• Students can see a list of available software on the Software Eligibility page
• The Open Access Lab computers have numerous programs installed, which can be used at no extra charge by all students
