Things you can ask Aggie Tech Help

After you ask Alexa to "Open Aggie Tech Help," you can ask a number of questions about services supported by the Texas A&M Division IT. Some examples are:

  • How do I reset my NetID password?
  • How can I get my computer repaired?
  • What is two-factor authentication?
  • How do I sign up for NetID Two-Factor Authentication?
  • Where can I purchase discount software?
  • Where can I find computer labs on campus?
  • How do I know if there is a virus on my computer?
  • How do I add an email address to my account?
  • How do I connect to the internet?

Alexa can’t find an answer to my questions. Why?

If you ask Alexa a specific Texas A&M tech question and she responds, “Sorry, I don’t know that one,” be sure to say, “Open Aggie Tech Help” or preface your question with “Ask Aggie Tech Help.”

If you receive the reply, “Sorry. We don't have an answer here at this time. Visit Help Desk Central at hdc.tamu.edu for assistance,” try prefacing your questions with:

  • “How do I…” for instructions
  • “Where is…” for directions
  • “What is…” for definitions
