Executive IT Council

The Executive IT Council (EITC) approves the university-wide IT vision and overall IT budget structure, and sets key IT priorities for the university.

Enterprise Services Committee

The Enterprise Services Committee (ESC) provides strategic oversight for core administrative information systems across the University.

Research Technologies Committee

The Research Technologies Committee (RTC) provides input for the research mission of the university by recommending IT strategies, plans and policies that support research by faculty and students.

Security and Policies Committee

The Security and Policies Committee (SPC) provides the IT Governance framework with institutional governance of information security policies, IT risk management, and privacy-related procedures and security initiatives.

Student and Academic Technologies Committee

The Student and Academic Technologies Committee (SATC) is charged with providing student input on information technology issues such as Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) programs, campus wireless access, and other IT issues that directly impact students.

Special Groups

Decision-making structures are organizational units and roles responsible for receiving input from University stakeholders and making decisions within a defined scope. This section contains each decision-making structure in the ITG Framework, recognize inputs and outputs between the structures, outline alignment processes to ensure that behaviors are consistent with IT policy, and draw unique boundaries between the structures and their associated sub-structures.

Information Technology Advisory Committee

The ITAC is charged with identifying information technology issues that affect Texas A&M University, deliberating these issues, and providing advice and recommendations to the Vice President and Chief Information Officer.

The GoWeb Team is an inclusive, collaborative community of professionals dedicated to supporting one another and elevating web communication across campus.

Laserfiche Steering Committee

Laserfiche Steering Committee provides guidance to the Laserfiche implementation team. It establishes conventions and recommends best practices to promote an efficient enterprise deployment of Laserfiche document management among participating campuses and agencies of The Texas A&M University System.

ServiceNow Sponsor Steering Committee

The ServiceNow Sponsor Steering Committee provides guidance to the ServiceNow Program Management team. It advises on the service offering to promote an efficient enterprise deployment among participating campuses and agencies of The Texas A&M University System.
