Structure, Strategy and Guidance
Established in 2016, Texas A&M University-Wide IT Governance was created to make informed, strategic IT decisions through structured committees and councils.
Committees
Each committee was created to balance input from university stakeholders and the mission of the university to make strategic IT decisions within a defined scope.
Executive
The Executive IT Council (EITC) approves the university-wide IT vision and overall IT budget structure, and sets key IT priorities for the university.
Leadership
The CIO and Strategic Chairs Committee (CSCC) executes decisions on IT strategies, investments, operations, priorities and services.
Strategic
Four strategic committees provide input for the mission of the University by recommending IT solutions related to their focus.
