Revised IT Governance Framework

Structure, Strategy and Guidance

Established in 2017, Texas A&M University-Wide IT Governance was created to make informed, strategic IT decisions through structured committees and councils.

Each committee was created to balance input from university stakeholders and the mission of the university to make strategic IT decisions within a defined scope.

The CIO and Strategic Chairs Committee (CSCC) executes decisions on IT strategies, investments, operations, priorities and services.

Seven strategic committees provide input for the mission of the University by recommending IT solutions related to their focus.
