Adam is the Associate Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at Texas A&M University. He holds a B.A. in history and music from Texas A&M University, and a Masters in computer science from Texas A&M University. He also teaches as an adjunct professor in the College of Engineering. Adam has 25 years of experience in information technology and security in multiple roles, from software developer, to IT director at the College of Architecture, to directing IT risk & compliance for the university.
The office of the CISO is responsible to protect and secure the university’s digital assets and information resources, and includes activities that span a variety of disciplines, including cyberdefense; systems and application security; security operations and forensics; identity and access management; data management; and risk, governance, and compliance.
