The Texas A&M Division of Information Technology hits the airwaves this month with "Technically Speaking TV," a new show on KAMU-TV.

The premiere episode airs Friday, August 16 at 11:30 p.m. and again on Sunday, August 18 at 3 p.m. The program will also be available on the division's YouTube channel at the end of August.

The first episode features guests Dee Childs, Vice President of Information Technology and Texas A&M Chief Information Officer; Kristen Kubenka, Assistant Director for the Division of Information Technology; and Identity Program Management Program Manager Susan Neitsch. Discussion topics include technology at Texas A&M, the growing IT job market and the importance of interesting students in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields.

The next episode of "Technically Speaking" is scheduled to air in October and will highlight the importance of cybersecurity and tips for staying safe online. Future episodes are planned every two months.
