In 2023, Technology Services at Texas A&M University achieved significant milestones such as establishing endpoint management for Apple devices, continuing work towards building a $64 million Next-Generation Aggie Network, professional development within the division and assisting the university community with innovative solutions. The focus throughout the year included investing in people, innovating the campus connectivity, fortifying cybersecurity, strengthening university and agency partnerships and maximizing return on investment.
“Our commitment extends to faculty, staff, students and visitors,” said Ed Pierson, Chief Information Officer and Vice President for Information Technology. “We empower our team, ensuring project success and nurturing talent.”
Technology Services will continue to focus on building relationships across The Texas A&M University System and the administrative, operational and academic units. Last year set a foundation for growth, as leadership within the division continues to empower the Texas A&M community by expanding access to research, cyberinfrastructure, software, laboratory solutions, facilities support and technology-based community engagement programs.
