To enhance cybersecurity skills on campus, the Division of Information Technology creates an online game each October in recognition of National Cybersecurity Awareness Month. This year's "Aggie Cybersecurity Circus" tested players' knowledge on phishing, online shopping, identity theft and more.

Over 8,000 games were played during the two-week period of the main campaign. Those who completed the game were given their choice of a free burrito from Freebirds, a frozen yogurt from Swirls, or an iced tea or coffee from Blue Baker. A random drawing was also held for a Dell Latitude 3190 2-in-1 laptop from 12th Man Technology. The winner was Garrett Anders.

As part of the campaign, a live carnival was held at Help Desk Central with free food and carnival games including a dunking booth.

At the completion of the contest, area schools were invited to play the game and learn about cybersecurity.
