Texas A&M's Division of Information Technology welcomes Serge Razafindrakoto as Director of Statewide Client Services.
Razafindrakoto brings 20 years of IT experience from Louisiana State University (LSU), where he most recently served as assistant director of unified applications. He holds a master's in business administration and bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from LSU and is foundation-level certified by the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
In addition to overseeing the service desk, the Texas A&M Software Center and desktop support services, Razafindrakoto will manage client relationships and a variety of IT services across the state for the division. This role supports the integration of Texas A&M Health IT and after-hours support for some affiliate services across the state.
Dee Childs, Vice President for Information Technology and CIO, says Razafindrakoto's experience, leadership and vision made him the perfect choice for the newly-created position.
"Serge has built an impressive record of achievement and we are pleased to welcome him to Texas A&M," she said. "Serge's IT experience and congenial personality make him well suited to direct our client-facing services. Serge, along with Director of Finance Phillip Guillen and with input from the entire campus community, will co-lead a digital business transformation of the division's client-facing services that will leverage technology and data to provide an enhanced IT experience."
