Information about service outages and planned maintenance can always be found at ITalerts.tamu.edu. Now you can be one of the first to know about these events through text notifications with the new IT Status Alerts feature. Subscribe to all services, or choose the ones most important to you. You can also receive email alerts if that works better for you.

1. Visit https://tamu.service-now.com/tamu-selfservice/itstatushistory.do.
2. Click "Log In" and enter your NetID and password.
3. If you would like to receive notifications for all services, click “Subscribe to ALL services” in the grey box at the top of the website. Otherwise, select "Edit" next to the services you wish to receive alerts for.
4. If you choose to receive SMS alerts, you will be prompted to enter your mobile number and mobile subscriber information.

Once subscribed, you will receive a message any time an IT Alert is posted about the services you selected.
