The Division of Information Technology is proud to announce Associate Director of Security Operations, Chris Wiley has been selected as a mentor for the MS-ISAC Leadership Mentoring Program.
The MS-ISAC Leadership Mentoring Program provides opportunities for participants to develop their leadership skills within the cybersecurity industry. Mentors guide fellow cybersecurity professionals to become the next generation of proficient and inspiring cybersecurity leaders.
Wiley has diverse cybersecurity experience from partnering with the military in endeavors to catch foreign spies, to discovering the root of financial fraud. Currently, Wiley and his team create a safer environment for Texas A&M University through rapid response and mitigation of security incidents.
“I am truly honored to mentor new security directors and managers across the nation,'' stated Wiley.
Wiley hopes to inspire and teach these future leaders through sharing his extensive security experience. His depth of knowledge in the cybersecurity industry gives him a unique viewpoint on leadership. Willey truly understands that “building a cohesive team that remains several steps ahead of our adversaries begins with a competent and successful leader.”
