The Duo mobile app was also recently updated to allow campus members quick access to information about login attempts, including the time, place and platform someone is using to access their account.

IT Manager, Michael Crocker, touted the benefits of the website update along with changes to the Duo mobile app that further prevent fraudulent authentication attempts for users. He also highlighted that the university recently reduced the length of time Duo “remembers” users to five days.

Crocker went on to explain that Texas A&M’s security measures parallel those of industry leaders like Amazon and Google. These large companies also use two-factor authentication to protect their customers' information and accounts.
