Overview
Enterprise File Storage uses NetApp and Dell PowerScale (formerly Isilon) to deliver secure, scalable, and efficient storage solutions for managing and protecting data. Features such as snapshots, data deduplication, and replication offer significant improvements over classic file-server file shares.

Cost
Monthly charge is based on the amount of data in storage on the last day of the month.

Service Details
Pay-as-you-grow subscription-based service that delivers a cloud-like experience on premises. It enables organizations to better align storage costs to business needs with the ability to accelerate time to value, by removing the IT burdens of managing storage infrastructures and going through the lengthy procurement cycle.
Hybrid NAS platforms are highly flexible and strike a balance between large capacity and high-performance storage to provide support for a broad range of enterprise file workloads.
Modular design allows for easy expansion and changes based on data storage needs.
Location
The Dell PowerScale H700 is hosted in the West Campus Data Center. The NetApp C800 has a physical appliance located in the West Campus Data Center with additional physical S3 StorageGrid tiers for instant access to cold archive data.
Backups
Rubrik NAS Cloud Direct will be the backup infrastructure for customers data, included in the cost of the storage.
Access
Users’ NetID access is controlled by IT professionals that support the unit and may be configured as needed to meet the needs of the unit.
