Overview

A Universal Identification Number (UIN) is assigned by Texas A&M to applicants, employees and affiliates. It is used in place of Social Security numbers to identify permanent records.

The UIN is used by former students who were enrolled at Texas A&M during the fall 1985 semester or later to access certain services through the Howdy web portal, such as review their academic records and order official transcripts. This service is provided by Enterprise Information Systems.

The UIN also is used to log in to services such as HRConnect and TrainTraq using the Single Sign On system. This service is provided by System Enterprise Applications.

Getting Started

Your UIN can be found on the bottom right of your Texas A&M ID card.
