Overview

The Texas A&M Software Center's agreement with Microsoft allows departments to purchase annual licenses for many of Microsoft's most popular products based on their Education Qualified Users (EQU). Departments must submit their orders during the annual enrollment period, which usually occurs in late April.

Microsoft Key Management Server (KMS) is used to activate volume-licensed Microsoft products such as Windows or Office. Open Access Labs have set up a KMS for use by the university.
