The Texas A&M Software Center's agreement with Microsoft allows departments to purchase annual licenses for many of Microsoft's most popular products based on their Full Time Equivalent (FTE) count. Departments must submit their orders during the annual enrollment period, which usually occurs in late April.

Also, some Microsoft software can be purchased at significantly discounted prices for personal use by registered students and some faculty and staff. Note: Departments determine their participation in providing discounted software for personal use by employees.

Microsoft Key Management Server (KMS) is used to activate volume-licensed Microsoft products such as Windows or Office. Open Access Labs have set up a KMS for use by the university.

For departmental Microsoft licensing, go to the Microsoft page on the Texas A&M Software Center website. To purchase software for personal use, log in at Software.tamu.edu.
